Bliss -windows

We have all seen this picture in our lifetime atleast one. Haven't we ? The name of the pisture is bliss. The default windows XP desktop.

This image which I still believed was the work of digital art (as i know so many of you think the same too) is not. This is the image from a landscape in Sonoma County ,California. And the actual place how it looks today is :
